  • CENERGY - Its mission is to deliver solutions in clean energy through more effective partnering with the clean energy industry, governments, investors and the public to rapidly develop product opportunities emerging from Colorado State University's world-class clean energy research.
  • MicroRx® - It is charged with developing transformative research collaborations, and efficiently moving discoveries to market through creative technology licensing and formation of startup companies. Its overarching goal is to rapidly translate research discoveries into products that alleviate the human and economic burdens caused by infectious diseases.
  • NeoTREX® - The overarching goal is to rapidly translate research discoveries into products that aid in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.

The Office of Vice President for Research (OVPR) proudly serves the University with oversight and promotion of external research funding and associated regulations, needs and capabilities; is the primary liaison with federal research officials and agencies; identifies and manages research opportunities; and develops and oversees interdisciplinary programs and research centers, institutes and other special programs.

Technology Transfer Office

The Colorado State University Research Foundation (CSURF) has the responsibility to protect and manage the intellectual property resulting from research at Colorado State University. CSURF's mission with respect to technology transfer states that we "facilitate and enable commercialization of the University's intellectual property for the benefit of the public through effective and efficient management, protection and licensing of the intellectual property, consistent with University policy and its efforts in research, teaching and service."

The process of Technology Transfer includes, but is not limited to evaluating intellectual property for protection and commercial opportunities; marketing to appropriate commercial partners; negotiating contracts with commercial partners; coordinating efforts of patent counsel; and ongoing maintenance and administration of licensed technology.

In addition, CSURF receives, accounts for and distributes all revenue received from its technology transfer operation according to Colorado State University policy.
